June 2019 and the full "Honey" (American lore) or "Strawberry" (old European lore) moon was in the early hours of the 17th morning in the UK. It appears “opposite” the Sun at this time.
The evening before, Jupiter was very close to the moon. Jupiter looks tiny compared to the moon but in fact it is 40 times larger in diameter than the moon.
In the lower right of the photo you can just see Jupiter as a small yellow dot -
The next evening, 17th June, the moon was well lit by the sun, although was partly obscured by clouds
