I first visited the
Tow Foo fishing pond in 2002. On 27 Aug 2009 I went back to the pond with my friends and their children as part of a fun day out in 'ulu' Selangor.
It was a baking hot and sunny day which is not good for fishing, as the fish are sensibly hiding.

The 2 girls Leah and Mayern wanted to fish, but despite trying for a couple of hours, were unlucky. Trying to tempt the fish with bread and tofu didn't work, the fish were just not interested. Even the seasoned anglers, who are regulars at the pond, were having no luck.

We changed ponds, and just as we were about to leave for lunch, one of the regulars managed to catch a fish, so at least we got some photos, and Leah was able to hold the rod with the fish.
