Thaipusam full moon

The annual Hindu festival of Thaipusam is held at the full moon which occurs between mid Jan - mid Feb. In 2010 it was Jan 30.

The following night I was wondering why I couldn't see the moon when I looked out around 8pm. I assumed it was too cloudy and forgot about it. I then by chance looked out at 8.45pm and saw a great golden ball rising behind the condo by the Thean Hou temple.
