Iskander Polo Club

I went to the Iskander Polo Club outside of Ipoh in 1992 on one of my first visits to Malaysia. We had been caving and I was still dressed in my caving clothes, but luckily the club was informal.

I went back for another look in Feb 2010. The bar was closed so we were unable to go in, but I see it has changed in layout. Unfortunately I didn't take any photos of the horses or stables. The club house

Chinese New Year lion dance 2007

These photos were taken in 2007 at Sri Hartamas, at a book shop. The lion goes into the book shop, then does some acrobatics outside.

I posted some lion dance photos from 2010, but here are some more photos, these
were taken at Darling Muse gallery in 2005.

It is not only Chinese who perform the lion dance, Indian dancers take part as well.
