Wow, impressive architecture!
ReplyDeleteYou really look at ease here, the mistress of the house!
ReplyDeleteSo relaxed...!
ReplyDeleteFascinating pictures. Would like to go there myself. When did you visit this region?
ReplyDeleteRajasthan has several towns with fascinating architecture, maybe you've heard of the famous Palace of the Winds in Jaipur . There are also lots of famous and beautiful forts, at Jodphur, Amber, Udaipur and the famous Lake Palace Hotel at Udaipur . The havelis are beautiful mansions. There's a famous camel fair at Pushkar. I stayed in an old palace now converted into a hotel and went riding on the Mahahraja's horses! I was there in 1988, so long ago. You should go, you would love it and its so photogenic.
ReplyDeleteLucky my camel man was only a youngish boy, cos some of the women had trouble with their camel men getting too friendly behind them on the camel :-)
