Burmese fighting balls
Does anyone know what fighting balls are ??? Saw it on a menu in an Indian restaurant in Yangon, Myanmar.
W -e- l- l , must be the goat's balls, a delicacy for the Mongolians, I think. In Kelantan I was offered and forced to eat " mata lumbu." in english bull-eyes.
What ? Didn't you know. It is fried egg with the yellow yolk at the center nick-named mata lumbu. Of course we all enjoy eating but still thinking where was the mata lumbu ... until later the joke was revealed. So this fighting balls must be something else. I am very suspicious of these over sex Kelantanese. Maybe two yolks together resembling fighting balls.
I know bulls eyes in England is fried eyes, but never thought about it in Msia! Guess I get turned off of eggs by seeing people eat raw or half cooked eggs for breakfast!

ReplyDeleteI can't take raw egg either. But like 1/2 boiled. But most of the times it turned out to be 1/3 or 1/4 or 3/4 boiled ! Really very frustrating.
